GANJA + TANTRA YOGA
Dee Dussault, the creator of San Francisco’s favorite Ganja Yoga class also teaches tantra and meditative loving touch. We love her laidback style and her powerful combination of spirituality and sexuality.
“Vaping allows me the opportunity to mindfully taste and smell cannabis. It sets the tone for a mindful yoga practice or tantra session”
Dee has a “Ganja Yoga” book coming out this spring with Herper Collins.

Ashley Manta, the Cannasexual, has created a job for herself where she experiments and teaches about cannabis and sex. Sounds fun! Why is Firefly one of Ashley’s favorite cannasex toys?
“That long, slow inhale is great for getting you present and into your body. You can shotgun hits too. That’s what I’m doing with partners that aren’t as comfortable with concentrates as I am”

Firefly wins the Good Design Award
They like us! They really like us!!! Our founders Mark Williams and Sasha Robinson must have learned some things in their Silicon Valley years – Firefly was the only vaporizer to win “the most prestigious world design award” this year. You can rest assured that when you vape with Firefly, you are having the highest form of vape experience.
Issued annually since 1950, the Good Design program rewards “quality design of the highest form, function, and aesthetics,” seeking out products that go above and beyond ordinary consumer product design. This seal of approval from a jury of distinguished design professionals and leading industry specialists means that Firefly has passed the “most rigorous test and criteria for absolute design excellence.” Criteria include innovative design, new technologies, form, materials, construction, concept, function, utility, and energy efficiency.
Other winners this year include NASA, Boeing, Motorola, Logitech, LC, and many more companies pushing the boundaries of design and technology. Now Firefly can list yet one more thing in common with NASA besides using one of the same materials as their space ships.
Good Design Awards are presented by Chicago Athanaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd. and founded by former MoMA curator Edgar Kaufmann Jr. with Charles and Ray Eames, Russel Wright, Geroge Nelson, and Eero Saarien.

Making Music from Plants
When Firefly launched our Firefly V.2, we had a SF launch party with upwards of 3oo people in attendance. The best part of the night for many of us was getting the chance to see Mileece I’Anson’s music installation in our conference room, where she hooks plants up to electrodes in order to modulate the electromagnetic current generated by them.
Yes, that really did happen. In our conference room..as if you needed more proof that Firefly creates magic. ????
From an earlier Motherboard article on Milceece’s work:
Channeling a plant’s sentience into an instrument is no obvious feat. Mileece’s background as an audiophile and programmer dovetailed to turn a garden into an organic medium for music. She pulls this off by attaching electrodes to leafy limbs, which conduct the bio-electric emissions coming off living plants. The micro-voltage then gets sucked into her self-authored software, turning data into ambient melodies and harmonic frequencies.
It’s simply not enough for these green little squirts to just spit out noise. All this generative organic electronic music must sound beautiful, too. As a renewable energy ambassador, Mileece’s larger goal behind her plant music is to enhance our relationship with nature. And if plant music can have a pleasing aesthetic articulation then hopefully we all can give a greater damn about our environment.
While some may see the paradox in an organic medium generating electronic music, Mileece does not. She sees this as a symbiotic relationship, a vital one, and one that hints to a larger relationship she’s been trying to unify, which is that between humans and nature.
